Liberation Fund Application Form
Queen Mary Students' Union’s Liberation Fund exists to support projects, campaigns and events relating to liberation. We understand that forms of structural oppression marginalise certain groups of students, such as BME, LGBT+, disabled and women students and faith groups and that this may result in social and economic inequality, discrimination and harassment. For this reason, this year the University has provided £20,000 which has been used to create a fund for each of the Students' Union's Liberation Months and a further fund for other liberation projects. Student representatives and Student Groups may apply for funding to support work relating to liberation.

Key deadlines
For Liberation Months, you must submit your application by the deadline set. For other liberation projects, you must submit your application at least 6 weeks in advance of your project. The deadlines for Liberation Months are as follows:

* Black History Month (October 2019)
Deadline for inclusion in print and online publicity - 5th August

* Islamophobia Awareness Month (November 2019)
Deadline for inclusion in print and online publicity - 1st September

* LGBT+ History Month (February 2020)
