Buy vs. build for web features
Gone are the times when building a web application meant building everything ourselves. Error monitoring, authentication, and even full features like live video chat can be bought instead of built. These web features can just be popped into the frontend code without having to set up additional backends or databases. But we still write a lot of this code ourselves. Why?
