Human Experience in an AI-Shaped World of Work

Much of the conversation about AI focuses on what technology can do. Far less attention is paid to how people are actually experiencing AI at work—making decisions, exercising judgment, leading others, and navigating careers in a world where working lives are evolving and often extending.

This research initiative centers lived experience across career stages, sectors, and levels of responsibility. It explores how people are working with AI today, where confidence or strain is emerging, how responsibility and decision-making are changing, and what kinds of support help humans adapt responsibly.

The survey takes approximately 6-8 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous and analyzed in aggregate to inform future research, writing, and public dialogue on human-centered AI.
