Lowell’s going through tough changes. From the closure of arts and cultural organizations and beloved businesses to new challenges with homelessness to fear experienced by newcomers after the presidential election, we’ve got a lot to talk about.
We’ve always been stronger when we come together. This is why DIY Lowell is hosting a series of round table community connection conversations about preserving our vibrancy. Everyone is welcome. Refreshments served and child-friendly activities are available. Interpretation available upon request.
Our first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 6:00 pm, at LTC (246 Market St). Doors open at 5:45 pm. The agenda will include a brief introduction and facilitated conversation including:
- Table talk about attendees’ concerns
- Brainstorming related to hopes and opportunities
- A deeper exploration of key opportunities
This is the first in a planned series of monthly facilitated meetings designed to spark dialogue, cultivate relationships, and inspire collaborative growth. These gatherings will serve as a platform to explore themed topics, share ideas, and drive collective impact across nonprofits, community groups, city government, and residents alike.
