Background:
教育局在《中學教育課程指引》(2017)提出學校開設應用學習作為選修科目，令高中課程更多元化，促進學生全面學習。為了落實課程目的，教育局推出相應措施，例如：
In the "Secondary Education Curriculum Guide" (2017), the Applied Learning (ApL) courses are one of the options suggested by the Education Bureau to enable schools to provide a broad and balanced curriculum with sufficient choices. Related measures include:

1.  推出優化高中四個核心科目措施，釋放課時，便利學校提供更多元選擇，如讓學生增修一個選修科目（包括應用學習）。
2.  2021/22年度的中四學生可於2021年9月開始修讀應用學習課程。
3.  2022至2024年度共開設52個應用學習課程供學校及學生選擇。
1. Optimisation of the four core subjects in the Senior secondary curriculum to release more time for schools to provide more choices to students, such as, allowing students to take one more elective subject (including ApL).
2. S4 students (2021/22 cohort) can take ApL courses in September 2021.
3. 52 ApL courses would be provided for students and schools in 2022-24.

調查目的：
Purpose of the present survey:
了解學校開設應用學習課程的現況、遇到的困難和對課程的意見，以便向教育局反映，進一步完善課程規劃與安排。
To understand the present situation, difficulties encountered and opinions of schools that offer ApL. All related concerns will be reflected to EDB for better curriculum planning and arrangements.

每校校長及應用學習課程統籌老師各填答一份，需時約5至10分鐘，請於2022年5月16日(一)或之前填覆。謝謝。
The survey consists of two sessions. The Principal and the Co-ordinator of ApL from each school will complete a SEPARATE survey, which will take 5-10 mins.  Please kindly complete both on or before 16th May 2022 (Monday).  Thank you!
