Dear Families:

It is almost the end of the school year and time for summer camp!  We are very excited to have your children join us. Our 9-week summer camp will begin on Monday, June 22nd and end on Friday, August 21st.  Some of the expected activities over the summer include: lots of outdoor/nature activities at state, county, and local parks, swimming, literacy and math activities, weekly visits to Troy Garden, sports, and other group activities!

ELEMENTARY SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm; Friday 10:00am-4:00pm (schedule to be modified as necessary)

TEEN SCHEDULE: Monday, 11:30am-5:00pm; Tuesday & Wednesday 12:00pm-5:00pm; Thursday 10:00am-5:00pm; Friday, TBD (schedule to be modified as necessary)

NO SUMMER CAMP FRIDAY, JULY 3RD

Our main goal is to have a fun and safe summer.  In order to make that happen, we need your help.  We want to make sure yours and your child’s needs, while also making sure expectations and rules outlined by KHCC staff are being met.  To ensure this is a possibility, all parents/guardians and students attending summer camp must meet with KHCC staff before their child starts attending summer camp to discuss these expectations.

We will host an in-person summer camp orientation for ALL families on Friday, June 5th from 5:30-6:00pm.  This will be helpful to understand summer camp schedules and expectations while also offering time for any questions.  There will be refreshments.

Please note that students who are currently enrolled in after-school have priority for summer camp.  Per the city contract, we can only enroll three 5/6 year olds.
