The event will be promoted via social and print media, posters, television and radio.
Please read the following very carefully and then complete your application to participate.
Application/Acceptance: Register no later than October 1st. If after October 1st, then there will be a $10 late registration fee added. Registration will benefit the Jazz Association of Macon and is tax deductible. Applications will be taken on a first come first serve basis, i.e. the earlier the application is received the closer to the stage your booth will be. If accepted, you will be notified via email and a packet will be mailed the week of October 10th with additional information. If not accepted, you will receive a refund.
Requirements: Artwork and crafts displayed should be the work of the artist. Pieces made from kits and those made from mass produced parts are not allowed. Found parts assembled into one-of-a-kind structures are acceptable. To ensure that a good variety of quality arts and crafts are represented, selection will be at the discretion of and the sole responsibility of the festival steering committee.
Set-Up/Break-Down: A 10' wide by 12' deep space will be provided. There is no electricity available. Setup of booths will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., depending on your assigned time. No set up allowed before 9:30 a.m. Booths will be located from the middle of the block to the end of Riverdale closest to Ridge Avenue. Vehicles will be allowed into the closed area for the two-hour set-up period for unloading. Parking will be available on Ridge Avenue near the exhibit area. Breakdown will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be no set-up or breakdown during the event hours. Exhibitors must furnish their own displays and must be present during the entire event hours. Breakdown includes cleaning up any debris incurred by the display and sales activities. Trash must be removed by the exhibitors. In case of rain, we recommend bringing something to cover up the artwork. Due to the weather, if the festival is cancelled before 2:30 pm on the day of the festival, registration fees will be credited for the following year.
Sales: All sales are handled by the exhibitor. The festival steering committee accepts no product liability for any items sold by an exhibitor. Security will be furnished during festival hours. However, the festival steering committee is not responsible for damage or loss. During festival hours, booths are not to be left unattended.
Deadline: Completed, signed application and payments are due by October 1st. Remember, limited space available, so first come first served.
