2024 Annual Young Women Prom Event
The Annual Young Women Prom Event was started in 2015 by Andria Tupola on the Westside of Oahu to increase self respect and self worth among teenage girls through the words of confident women, modest dress, and empowering actions. This free event for families and all ages will be held on March 1st, 7pm at New Hope O'ahu. There will be inspiring speeches, free dresses, jewelry, shoes, and prizes.

"Women of Strength!" is this year's theme as we honor the life of Theresa Cachuela for her service to this event and her partnership in empowering young women in our community. Our speakers are Kamalani Dung, a professional softball player, and Shellie Paiva, the first woman SWAT Commander for the Honolulu Police Department. Our emcees are Sanoe Tuitele, former Miss Plus World 2019 and Relda Keliikoa, community advocate.
