Thank you for expressing interest in becoming a moderator for /r/Political_Revolution! We appreciate your ambition and desire to expand your role as a supporter of this movement and of the progressive values that we all share as a nation.

In the light of the Clinton General Election loss, we'd like to add some new moderators to our team and we're interested in giving everyone an equal chance to be considered for a moderator position. When you're thinking about submitting your moderator application, please make sure you understand some of the core duties involved with this kind of job.  Some of these duties include:

➤ Removing rule-breaking posts from the moderation queue and new queue, as well as approving valid posts that are reported and filtered.

➤ Being active on the subreddit on a consistent basis (not necessarily actively posting but actively moderating -- we need all the help we can get)!

➤ Being polite, helpful, and professional in all situations.

And please remember: If you don't think you'll be able to dedicate an adequate amount of time to helping moderate the subreddit you may be removed as we need to make sure the members of our modteam are as active as possible. Applicants should remember that moderating /r/Political_Revolution requires quite a big time commitment and that they may be removed if they fail to meet the activity levels needed by the subreddit that they may be removed. There is absolutely nothing personal about this policy but we need to ensure there is a highly active moderator team.
