Please join us on Wednesday,
January 31, from 6:00-8:00 in the Rand Dining Hall for another installment of
the Community and Storytelling series. Nichols School is committed
to practices that grow a more unified, closely knit, inclusive community. As
Harvard Professor, Frances X. Frei explains in her article, “Storytelling That
Drives Bold Change”, research has shown that storytelling has a remarkable ability
to connect people. This series of events aims to bring every member of the
Nichols community together to harness the collective power of sharing stories.
University of Pennsylvania Professor and friend of Nichols, Dr. Howard
Stevenson, asserts that storytelling promotes well-being, healthy identity
development, and positive racial socialization. Please join us for this
important community building event.
