Saratoga Arts is seeking artists to participate in Art in the Park, a full day of fine art in Saratoga Springs' historic downtown Congress Park, curated and presented by Saratoga Arts. This exhibition features artists from the greater Saratoga and Capital regions, displaying and selling their original two- and three-dimensional creations and personally-designed and crafted functional fine art in a beautiful park setting. Artists will be on hand to discuss their drawing, painting, ceramics, jewelry, sculpture, photography, print-making, and work in other media. This year's event will include prizes, local music, great food and a Kids Art Zone! If you are in artist interested in participating in Art In The Park, please submit your application by September 1st.

Art In The Park Guidelines *
Please read carefully. 1. Only original works of fine art are accepted. Artists using the mediums of drawing, painting, ceramics, fine handcrafted jewelry, mixed media, sculpture, photography, and printmaking are encouraged to register. Any prints should be in signed limited editions of 25 or less. 2. Unlimited, mass-produced artwork or commercial products (ex: posters, clothing & apparel, cards, books) are not permitted. Original works of fine art only. Artists that set-up a display and do not comply with this guideline will be asked to remove items or asked to leave the exhibit. 3. All interested artists are required to submit 5 images of their art for review in order to be accepted into the show. Artists will receive an email confirmation within one week of applying with your acceptance and sign-in time, as well as detailed instructions about the event. 4. All artist vendors are required to provide their own display material to occupy a 12'x12' space and are encouraged to use tents with sides to protect artwork from sun, wind and/or rain. Artists are required to bring tent stakes, or something to secure their tent to the ground. Saratoga Arts assumes no responsibility for theft or damage of artwork. 5. Artists must arrive at their confirmed sign-in time. All artists must sign in by 8:30AM. All displays must be set up by 10AM, when the exhibit opens to the public. The exhibit hours are 10am-4pm. 6. Artist Vendors are NOT permitted to request a display location in Congress Park. All locations are given randomly. 7. Artist Vendors are ONLY permitted to unload artwork at the Spring Street entrances to Congress Park. Absolutely NO vehicles are allowed to drive through Congress Park. Volunteers will be available to help you unload. Once artwork is unloaded, Vendors must find parking prior to set-up. No cars may be left unattended on Spring Street. 8. You may not take down your exhibit before closing time. Early artwork removal is permitted only at the prior discretion of the Exhibitions Director and is case-dependent. 9. In accordance with the City of Saratoga Springs, vendors are not permitted to bring pets. 10. Judging will take place in the morning. Ribbons and prizes for Best in Show and Honorable Mention will be awarded. 11. Payments will be held until acceptance into the show. Only accepted artists will have their payments processed. Artists not accepted into the exhibit will have their payments voided or returned. 12. Payment cancellation policy is as follows: Artists who cancel one week or more before the scheduled event date (9/22/18) will receive a refund of their registration, fee minus a $15 cancellation fee. Artists who cancel less than one week before the event date (9/22/18) will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given if registration is cancelled on the date of the event (9/22/18) or the artist does not show up to the event. Saratoga Arts is not responsible for artists missing the event due to illness or other commitments. 13.
