This year there are two fun, informal evenings with lightning talks, music performances, and some impromptu standup comedy which will take place on the following dates:
ONLINE Open Mic Night - Tuesday 15th November 2022, 18:30 in Gather Town (NOT ZOOM).
ONSITE Open Mic Night - Wednesday 16th November 2022, 19:30 at CodeNode (for in-person conference attendees)
All attendees of ADC'22 are welcome to contribute. Please submit your proposal by filling out the form below. Submissions for both Open Mic Nights will close once the slots are full, so hurry up!
You will be notified whether your submission has been accepted (potentially at very short notice). If it's successful, then you will be assigned a new Discord role where you will then be able to access a backstage Open Mic Night Discord channel. If you have any questions or need to cancel your session, please post a message there to let your host know.
All contributions are strictly limited to 5 minutes (you will be cut off if you run over!). Your contribution can be anything you like – a lightning talk with slides, a musical performance, or a standup comedy gig! We suggest you keep it fun and informal, in line with the spirit of the event :)
It will not be recorded, live-streamed or published. We use the ADC'22 Discord server for instant messaging to coordinate things, so please provide a Discord handle. You'll receive an invite to the ADC'22 Discord server before the start of the conference.
