The St. Louis Coalition to Protect Cyclists and Pedestrians (CP2) is collaborating with Loutopia (@stloutopia on IG)
to re-envision what safety should look like in Dutchtown with an interactive, participatory, art-focused event. CP2 is an informal collective dedicated to transforming St. Louis City into a safer, more equitable place for cyclists and pedestrians. Loutopia is a St. Louis community peacemaking platform who 'turns potential into reality,' asking event participants to imagine what their neighborhood and streets should look like through the use of technology and art. We will be working together to reimagine Compton Community Plaza at Marquette Park in Dutchtown! The event will be in person at the auditorium in the Thomas Dunn Learning Center (3113 Gasconade St, St. Louis, MO 63118) on Saturday, May 10th from 12-3:30pm.
Registration will be capped at 50 attendees. While this event is open to all St. Louis residents, if we receive more interest than space, we will prioritize individuals who live in Dutchtown or neighboring communities.
We will email you at least a week in advance of the event to let you know your registration is confirmed.
We will have light snacks, but plan to eat a meal before hand. Feel free to bring snacks to share if you would like as well!
