MIT Panhellenic Scholarship Application 2017
Statement of Purpose
The MIT Panhellenic Leadership Fund recognizes a member of the MIT campus who has exceptionally contributed to the Panhellenic community. The Fund annually awards three $250 scholarships to three individuals who have best demonstrated the following qualities:
-Values of service and leadership on campus
-Strong academic performance
-A clear need and purpose for the award
Money from the fund may be used to address dues associated with chapter membership.

Eligibility
-Full-time freshman, sophomore, or junior enrolled at MIT under good ethical and academic standing
-Initiated and active member of one of the seven Panhellenic sororities on campus
-Has not previously received a Panhellenic Scholarship nor is currently receiving a Chapter Scholarship

Deadline
This form will be closed at 11:59 PM on April 9th, 2017. Applications received after this time will not be considered. Individuals will be notified of the status of their application on April 23rd.

Scholarship Review Process
Applications will be thoroughly read by Panhel exec members who will remain confidential about any information disclosed in applications. They will select the scholarship recipients based on the criteria listed above. However, most importance will be given to the applicant’s contribution to the campus and Panhel communities. All eligible are encouraged to apply. If you have any concerns about any part of this application in terms of disclosure, privacy, or anything at all, please contact panhel-exec@mit.edu or the FSILG Office at fsilg-office@mit.edu to be reviewed by the Panhellenic Advisor.
