Queer, Trans, & Allied Student Summit of the Central Coast Student Planning Committee - Fall 2024
Hello! Thank you for your interest in being a part of the student summit planning committee for the Fall 2024 Queer, Trans, & Allied Student Summit of the Central Coast on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

The student planning committee is a vital part of the Queer, Trans, & Allied Student Summit project, put on by the Safe Schools Project of Santa Cruz County. 

The objectives of the student planning committee include: Helping plan the Student Summit

Time commitment:
  • Meetings occur in Summer 2024, and August - October
  • Approximately 1 hour per week.
  • Meetings will occur over Zoom.
We are looking for committed, inspired queer & trans youth that want to make a difference in the lives of queer youth living in the Central Coast.

As a member of the student planning committee, you'd be involved in the production of one of the most important events for queer youth in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties, providing access to resources and workshops for them with the mission of empowering them and their sense of community, as well as providing a chance to meet other queer and trans youth in their area. By being a part of the student planning committee, you will also be a Safe Schools Project intern which will count towards community service hours.
