JTriad Board Application
We welcome anyone from the JTriad community to apply for a volunteer leadership position on the JTriad Board. The current JTriad Board will vote on all applications for new members at an upcoming meeting, and everyone who applies will be notified soon after.
The board structure is currently under review, and we anticipate having the following positions (or positions similar to the ones included below):
Chair: Leader of the board, liaison between JTriad and the greater Jewish community in the Triad, supports the Member Engagement chair with welcoming new members to the JTriad community, manages JTriad email account.
Treasurer: Manages the budget.
Secretary: Creates monthly meeting agenda and takes minutes at monthly board meetings.
Events: Manages overall logistics of planning and executing events.
Communications: Manages Facebook account and other social media as needed, updates website, submits event information to the Jewish Federation community calendar, supports writing articles for Shalom Greensboro.
Member Engagement & Outreach: Welcomes new community members to JTriad, takes lead on planning new member events, liaison between JTriad community and board, liaison between JTriad and Jewish Federation new member committee.
Members at Large: Voting members of the board, volunteer for leadership opportunities and support events as needed.
All board members are expected to attend one meeting per month and participate in as many JTriad events as possible. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours per month.
