We are taking applications for our 2025-2026 Ambassadors of Change Program. If you are an upcoming Sophomore, Junior or Senior in Hamilton County with a passion for community advocacy and leadership development, we invite you to review this application to see if the Ambassadors of Change Program aligns with your interests. We will be selecting a maximum of ten students for the 2025-2026 school year. Below is a brief overview of our program:
The Ambassador of Change program is a leadership development and community engagement opportunity for students who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. This program empowers youth to become proactive change-makers by equipping them with essential skills in advocacy, project management, and public speaking. Participants engage in hands-on activities, workshops, and mentorship sessions designed to foster critical thinking, empathy, and resilience. By collaborating on community projects, Ambassadors of Change learn to address and tackle important issues in their community. For the 2025-2026 school year we will be addressing food insecurity in Hamilton Country, primarily focusing our efforts on helping reducing food debt for students in the public school system. Other projects include, but are not limited to, planning our Empty Bowls event in November and our Holiday Concert series and Toy Drive for approximately 750 youth in the Greater Chattanooga Area. (Please note, this program requires approximately 10-12 hours of volunteer time a month.)
Application deadline is January 1st.
