Second Saturday Community Market is outdoors, rain or shine. SSCM have always been well-attended, usually averaging 80-200 market-goers per hour! You will be assigned a 10' x10' space on Chestnut Street. You must provide all of your own vending materials including tent/tables/chairs. You must be set-up and ready for customers by 8:30AM and may not tear down before 2:00PM without Market Director permission. No shows will not be considered to vend at future markets. If you have an online/social media presence, please let us know so we can help promote your work!
Due to the excitingly overwhelming response of vendors and community groups during last year's market, we are asking each applicant to choose one or two "top choice" markets, and to let us know if you'd be interested in participating beyond those markets. In accordance with our mission to support fledgling artisans, we want to ensure a good mix of new and returning vendors at each market!
The booth fee is (per market) are $25, and must be paid one week prior to the market to reserve your spot.
Community organizations are not permitted to make sales and must provide engaging activities for patrons/families (i.e. more than just handing out brochures).
