Know the Warning Signs:  Keeping your community safe from targeted violence
Come join us May 1 from 6-7:30pm at the Racine Public Library for a fun, interactive evening to learn how to make your community safer! 

Targeted violence–violence aimed at an individual, group, or location, including because of their identity–is on the rise across the country and in Southeast Wisconsin. Learn how you can keep Racine and the broader community safe by spotting the warning signs of someone on a pathway to targeted violence and helping get that person the resources they need before violence occurs. This interactive workshop, led by the national organization Urban Rural Action, will include scenarios of real-life cases you’ll work through with other community members. You’ll walk away feeling more empowered to prevent targeted violence before it happens - and strengthen your community. Refreshments provided.
