CCACC Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Registration From  協助青少年穩健成長
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid is primarily designed for adults who regularly interact with young people. The course introduces common mental health challenges for youth, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Topics covered include anxiety, depression, substance use, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders (including AD/HD), and eating disorders.

2010)。由于缺乏心理健康素养,和心理治疗资源,以及大众对于心理健康问题的污名效应,很多有心理健康问题的青少年没有及时寻求心理帮助,对个人家庭和社会产生了长远的负面影响。
青少年心理健康急救员培训 (youth mental health first aid)
是美国行为健康学会认证的课程,通过培训老师和家长们将学习青少年心理健康的相关知识,不仅有助于老师和家长及早发现和识别青少年的心理问题,及时为学生提供有效的帮助,更能够为青少年的健康成长提供支持和保障。而且,老师和家长还将通过角色扮演和场景练习等的方式,学习如何正确应对常见的青少年心理问题,比如抑郁,焦虑,自伤/自杀问题的实用技巧,避免学生陷入更大危机。王慈欣教授对于该培训进行了
cultural adaptation 文化修订,使得这个培训更加适应美国华人的文化。
