PLEASE READ ALL EXPLANATIONS ON THE FORM BEFORE ANSWERING!

ADULTS - NOTE: You MUST be Youth Protection Training (YPT) certified to participate or even just Drive on this, or any, Outing! ALSO - ALL ADULTS AND SCOUTS MUST HAVE PART A & B OF THE MEDICAL HEALTH FORM AND A COPY OF YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE CARD ON FILE TO GO ON ANY OUTING!!! THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!

Please fill out this sign up form COMPLETELY - ONE FORM FOR EACH PARTICIPANT (Scouts and Adults) and submit it ONLINE no later than Monday (10 PM) April 8, 2019. Make your payment to the Troop separately at any of the Troop meetings up to and including Tuesday, April 9, 2019. Payment may be by Check or Cash, and all Checks should be made out to "BSA TROOP 599".

NOTE: THIS IS A ONE (1) NIGHT OUTING - SATURDAY NIGHT ONLY. WE WILL BE CANOEING TO AND CAMPING ON A SAND BAR ON VILLAGE CREEK (you will NOT have access to any vehicles) ON SATURDAY. ALL MEALS (Saturday Dinner and Sunday Breakfast) WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE TROOP - These will be Backpacking Style meals. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BRING THEIR OWN SATURDAY SACK LUNCH WITH THEM. WE WILL CANOE OUT SUNDAY MORNING to the take-out point and be shuttled back to our vehicles at the Outfitters office.

The Troop will meet on SATURDAY MORNING at 6:00 am at the Scout Hut and we will have a Troop Assembly by 6:20 am. We will depart no later than 6:30 am to drive to Eastex Canoe Trails in Silsbee, TX. Directions will be posted on the Troop website. It is an easy < 2 hour drive from the Scout Hut. We will park our vehicles at the Outfitters secured office yard and be shuttled to the put-in point on Village Creek.

Fees for this outing are:
ALL PARTICIPANTS Outing Fee = $ 15.00 per Participant (Scouts and Adults)
Adult Food Fee = $ 10.00 Pay to the Troop
Scout Food Fee = $ 10.00 Pay to the Troop - DO NOT PAY YOUR GRUBMASTER.

REMEMBER: ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BRING THEIR OWN Saturday Sack Lunch!!!!!! We will eat lunch on the Water!

Please remember that Siblings are NOT allowed on any Outing - Only Adults and registered Scouts. We will need drivers for this outing but please NO Late comers or Early leavers if possible.

ADULTS - are you YPT (Youth Protection Training) Certified (and current)? *
ALL Registered Adults in the Troop MUST be YPT certified. We also encourage our older Scouts in Senior Leadership Positions to be YPT certified. You may take this training online at www.myscouting.org. You do not have to be registered with the Troop to take this training. We are trying to get EVERY ADULT that attends an Outing with the Troop to be YPT certified. Please take this training if you can - it takes about 45-60 minutes online. Once you have completed the Training please email a copy of your certificate (you get this online upon completion) to Mr. James Harris at "jp.harris @comcast.net".
ADULTS (and Scouts)- do you have MEDICAL FORMS PART A & B on File with the Troop? *
All Scouts and ADULTS must have Part A & B of the Medical form on File with the Troop in order to attend any outing. This does NOT require you to get a physical - just fill out and turn in Part A & B.
