Potential Group Classes
I would love to start putting some group classes together.  But group classes don't work without a group!  If you think a group class would be fun, take a look through the list of group class ideas below and let me know if you're interested in any of them.  If I get enough interest in a particular class, we'll do it!  And if you'd like me to run a group class that you don't see described below, please let me know!

The information you provide via this form will be stored on a Google drive (a cloud-based storage service).  I will use this information for group class planning purposes -- including to get in touch with you about offerings exactly like or similar to ones you express interest in.  If, at any time, you decide would like me to delete the information you provide in this form, tell me (amyl@sdstudioonline.com) and I will.

  • no previous musical knowledge required (none of the Music Explorations classes have prerequisites, but students with no previous musical knowledge will have a better time if they take Time & Rhythm I and Pitch I or Pitch II before the others)
  • students with previous musical knowledge will likely still learn something in every class
Potential Offerings within the Music Explorations Category (tentative order)

  2. Pitch I (Treble Clef)
  3. Pitch II (Bass Clef)
  4. Pitch III (Solfege)
  5. Pitch IV (Alto Clef)
  6. Pitch V (Intervals)
  7. Time & Rhythm II (time signatures)
  8. Time & Rhythm III (more complex rhythms -- dotted notes and rests, sixteenth notes, and rhythms expressed with less common time signatures)
