Red Fox Indigenous Youth Leadership Camp - March 26 - 29, 2018
Location: Kwantlen Park Secondary - 10441 132 St, Surrey, BC

Time: 10am - 3pm

Open to Indigenous Youth Aged 14 - 20

*Lunch & snacks provided each day

- Aboriginal youth will have the opportunity to spend their spring break engaged in
challenging, fun and supportive activities that will strengthen their communication skills,
support increased mental and physical health, and increase their awareness and
connection of existing community resources.

- The Project will provide youth with teamwork and traditional activities to facilitate
relationship building with their peers and strengthen their self-esteem, and sense of
cultural identity and belonging through the following activities:

- Communication skills training;
- Teaching Physical Literacy Skills to Children;
- Elders’ Coast Salish Teachings;
- Leadership Skill Development through group challenges and presentations; and,
- Choosing and Preparing Healthy Snacks
- ViaSport Group Work
- Earn Red Fox Certification that will help you gain employment
- Honoraria Available
- Guest Speakers
- Youth will receive a camp T-Shirt
