Meet at McCarren Park House (closest entrance: Lorimer & Driggs)

Park Stewardship

- Litter Pickup: After a busy weekend, litter can spread across the park. Help keep our park clean by gathering litter for proper disposal.

- Mulching: Add mulch around trees to protect them from winter temperatures and soil erosion.

- Catch Basin Clearing: Sweep leaves, trash and other debris off the drain surface to reduce water pollution and prevent flooding.

- Daffodil Bulb Planting: Join North Brooklyn Parks Alliance in planting daffodil bulbs for next spring along McCarren's flower beds.

- Map and catalog McCarren Park's resources using BetaNYC's innovative mapping technology -- right from your phone! A brief training will be provided.
