In the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper Jesus miraculously gives us his true body and blood with the bread and wine for our forgiveness, to strengthen our faith, and unite us with the whole Christian Church. He commands us to celebrate this sacred meal often in remembrance of his sacrifice. We regularly celebrate the Lord's Supper on the first and third Sundays (and corresponding Monday) of each month and on other festival days.
However, in this fallen world our faith is often beaten down and troubled. Our sins and the sins of others can fill our consciences with shame and regret. But in such circumstances we need not wait for the next communion Sunday. If you would like to receive private communion from the pastor please fill out this form, and he will contact you to set up a mutually agreeable time.
