All of West Town's diverse businesses are invited to participate in the West Town Art Walk (WTAW) and help us showcase all that our neighborhood has to offer through the lens of "art through every door!"
The official WTAW hours are Friday, Oct. 2nd, 5-8pm; Saturday, Oct. 3rd & Sunday, Oct. 4th, 10am-6pm. During those hours, the West Town Chamber of Commerce (1819 W. Chicago Ave.) will be open and operating as event headquarters. While we recommend aligning your own hours of participation to the official event hours as closely as possible, it is not a requirement. This event is meant to celebrate our small business community and its collective commitment to offering "art through every door" in West Town. We do not want the variance of a few hours to prevent you from participating in the festivities and benefitting from the same. That being said, we are requesting you to share your approximate operating hours for the three-day event as part of this application, as we will include that information in the expanded map/guide.
There are two ways to participate in Art Walk:
1) MAP PLACEMENT: Host an artist at your business and/or showcase an existing or temporary collection of visual art and be open for the entirety of the WTAW hours (Friday 5pm-8pm and Saturday + Sunday 10am-6pm). Not sure how to connect with an artist? We are happy to help! The WTCC has a cohort of Independent Artist Members we can connect interested businesses with, or you are welcome to do outreach to your own preferred artist or artist(s).
2) BUTTON PROMO: Offer a special and/or promotion for WTAW attendees displaying a WTAW button, which you will honor during your regular business hours during WTAW weekend.
The deadline for filling out this Application Form is July 8th, 2026. Please provide all information about your business's plans for participation, including artist(s) you plan to host, and any events, discounts or specials you're offering patrons in this form prior to submittal.
