Things to do/bring/know

- We recommend finding flights with Hopper, Google Flights, Expedia. Try to book directly through airline once flights are found. This provides better support should they change any details with the flight.

- Pack light - the trip will be like going on a trip to a US national park with stores within a quick drive. This won't be a wilderness survival course so no need to bring the whole closet and pantry. This will also allow us to travel in one vehicle without issue.

- Travel Insurance - we do not provide any insurance programs through our tour, it is up to each individual and party to book their own insurances. We recommend the Blue Cross Blue Shield Travelers insurance program. Full coverage is very reasonable.

- We can use credit/debit cards at most places along this trip. However if you'd like to purchase anything from the local community markets cash is the only way. We recommend getting cash in advance because the airport currency converters are a ripoff. $200 to $300 (transferred into South African Rand) will go very very far. Many ATMs will allow you to withdrawal more cash with the appropriate card settings and card. Please confirm with your banks and credit card companies.

- Cell phones - you can swap out your phones SIM card and its pretty cheap. Roughly $30 will cover you for the trip. This will prevent you from accruing a nasty US phone bill. Providers like T-Mobile have free transferred coverage but it is spotty at best.
