2026 CAEA Microgrants

CAEA is pleased to offer three funding opportunities to support Colorado art educators, creative learning experiences, and professional growth. Current CAEA membership is required for all opportunities.

CAEA Teacher Microgrants
CAEA will award ten $250 grants and eight $500 grants to support educational projects or professional development. These grants are funded through proceeds from the annual CAEA Fall Conference Art Auction.

Carrie Mann Rural Art Educators Microgrants
Made possible through generous donations from Carrie Mann’s family, friends, and community, CAEA will award two $250 grants and two $500 grants. These grants support projects or professional development for educators serving rural Colorado schools and communities.

ArtSource Colorado/CAEA Scholarships
CAEA will award two full scholarships valued at $745 each and four partial scholarships of $350 each for the 2027 ArtSource Colorado Summer Residency. The residency will take place June 21–26, 2027, with extended studio days June 27–28.

Applications open August 4, 2026, and close August 31, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. MT. Please review the detailed opportunity descriptions before selecting the funding opportunity for which you would like to apply.
