As A Matter Of Black: In Love, Volunteer Form
In honor of Black History Month, MUCE presents its annual exhibition As A Matter of Black. This year’s theme explores Love on the canvas and on the runway with dynamic duo Dorvielier & fashionista Mishe.

Community events thrive become of volunteers like YOU!

Interested volunteers MUST fill out and complete form below.

WHO CAN VOLUNTEER? :
- Volunteers MUST be 16 years of age or older.
- Volunteers MUST submit this volunteer form by Wednesday February 9, 2022.
  Please do not bring additional family or friends with you to your volunteer shift.
- Volunteers MUST be reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Volunteers who are physically well and have not experienced any symptoms of COVID-19
currently or in the past 14 days.
- Volunteers who are able to lift 20 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment and stand for
the length of the volunteer shift.
- Volunteers who are able to work in outdoor conditions – heat, humidity, rain, etc.

Roles & Responsibilities
As A Matter Of Black: In Love volunteers are expected to work with a MUCE staff  in the areas of Administration, Customer Service and Event Production to help set-up and breakdown/clean-up after the event closes. As A Matter Of Black: In Love will operate rain or shine, except in severe weather (lightning, tornado, high winds, etc.). Volunteers will be notified if event is canceled.

Roles will included but not limited to greeting/informational, event setup, staff support. Volunteers get to work outside while getting to know the community in a unique way and also contributing a welcoming experience.

DRESS CODE:
Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and black clothes. This is an OUTDOOR EVENT and you should be prepared to be on your feet for the duration of your shift. Please wear closed-toed shoes and bring a rain jacket.

We recommend you bring sunscreen, insect repellent, sunglasses/hat. – we will NOT be responsible for your personal items so please limit what you bring to essentials.
