2026-27 Concert Band Ensembles, Marching Band & Colorguard Intent Form
We are so excited for you to be a part of our  award wining Marching Band, Concert Band Ensembles, Percussion & Guard Programs! 
 
Please provide the requested information as completely as possible for the sole use of the Sandra Day O'Connor Bands. Contact information provided will be used to distribute information about SDOHS Band activities and events via e-mail, and for emergency contact during Band travel events. 
* Please Note: this is an intent form only, separate from the registration form to be filled out at a later date.

BAND CLASSES THIS YEAR AND MARCHING BAND REQUIREMENTS 
-Eagle Pride Marching Band: Open to all students, but not required. However, only students in the marching band will sign up for Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band (audition required, submitted by May Music Camp). 
-Colorguard- Only open to students committing to marching band and the winterguard activity in the spring. 
-Percussion Ensemble: ONLY open to percussionists in the Marching Band/Indoor Percussion (these students will perform with the Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band)
-Concert Band:  anyone who wants to learn or continue playing a brass, woodwind, or percussion instrument. Marching band is NOT required to participate in this course (no marching band, sign up for CONCERT BAND!)  
-Symphonic Band: Audition required to enter, marching band participation is required to be in this course. 
-Wind Ensemble: Audition Required to participate, marching band participation is required to be in this class AND Private music lesson instruction is required to be in this class.
