The Kitchen of Resilience- by The Potato Farm Food Project

In every home, there is a kitchen that works in silence. It is where grains are washed, rotis puffed, pickles bottled, and dal stirred not for applause, but to keep life moving.

Our mother’s kitchen was one of resilience. A cancer survivor, she rose each day to light the stove, improvising meals with speed, instinct, and love. No matter how hard life pressed against her, she kept feeding everyone—family, friends, neighbors across caste, class, and circumstance.

Join us as we honor her courageous spirit with a Gujarati Jamanvar-style lunch by Shilpa Kinkhabwala
