We're so glad you reached out to us regarding our Sonshine Preschool!

Sonshine Preschool is a Themed based curriculum for 3s and 4s working on skills needed for kindergarten and encouraging respectful behavior towards others. The Curriculum provides for a lot of activity in the student’s day Students work on writing, counting, letter recognition, pronunciation; space and direction around them.

Sonshine Kindergarten is also Theme based and works to bring children into VBPS readiness while exploring our world with hands on learning and play. We grow in community in our Field Trips and group activities.

All programs can participate in our Dance and Soccer Extra curricular programs.

We are a religiously exempt school based on the Code of Virginia and annually certify our exemption requirements with the state.

We have Music class , Art and Chapel once a week. We have a lovely playground and are outside on it daily as much as the weather permits.

For 2024-25 Registration:

The 3s class accepts children who turn 3 prior to September 30, 2024

The 4s class accepts children who turn 4 prior to September 30, 2024

The Kindergarten class accepts children who turn 5 prior to September 30, 2024

3 year olds must be completely, independently able to go to the bathroom, start to finish.

We have regular sized toilets here at Sonshine.

We have 3-day a week and 5 day a week options for both ages.

· 3s go from 9am to 1pm.

· 4s go from 9am to 1pm.

Kindergarten is 5 days a week 9am to 1pm

We have an aftercare program that runs from 1pm until 3pm.

There is a non-refundable registration fee of $180.

Pricing:

· 3-day a week, no aftercare - $360

· 5-day a week, no aftercare- $460

Kindergarten, no aftercare- $500

· 3-day a week, with aftercare - $480

· 5-day a week, with aftercare- $660
