An advanced fresh frozen cadaveric course for delegates with prior surgical experience of routine free tissue harvest (as a minimum) with ambition to develop complex free tissue transfer ability/techniques and associated skills.

The Liverpool Head & Neck Centre (LHNC) invites Senior trainees and Consultants with an interest in Head & Neck oncology to join us for the 2019 Liverpool Advanced Head & Neck Reconstruction Course.

Head & Neck Reconstructive Surgery is a complex and highly technically challenging field central to the effective management of oncologic and other defects. This course aims to expose delegates to both demonstrations and individual dissection of a comprehensive range of free tissue transfer techniques for use in H&N surgery.

This course is led and taught by experienced Head & Neck microvascular surgeons with a multidisciplinary background; OMFS, Otolaryngology/ENT and Plastic Surgery. In 2019 we are honoured to have the following Visiting International Faculty;

Professor Doug Chepeha (Toronto)
Dr Jörn Wittig (Salzburg)

Participants will have the opportunity to work on whole body fresh frozen cadaveric specimens with a maximum of two delegates per specimen. This course is developed to optimise the trainees time at the cadaver.

Stryker and 3D Systems are proud to sponsor this hands on cadaveric course.
