Join us in Figueira da Foz on Portugal’s beautiful west coast to learn surfing and where you can also complete your Duke of Edinburgh`s Gold Residential Award on the renowned surf and beaches of nearby Cabadelo and Gala.
Our fully qualified surf coaches will lead you through from basics to advanced techniques and you’ll also be looked after by our lifeguard who will also provide learning sessions on beach, sea and tide awareness, show you how to use apps and other tools for understanding weather and sea conditions and surf planning, teach you basic life saving techniques and all while you enjoy the sun and fun of the beach !
As well as daily surf coaching and equipment, we provide accommodation in our townhouse, local transport to surf site, all meals and an individually designed programme to maximise your time with us
We assess you at the start of camp and agree with you a personalised programme of training which we monitor daily and at the end of your camp we provide a completion report which details your progress and provide tips for how to continue to improve in rowing. For DoE candidates this report is also what you can submit to the DoE for completion of your Gold Residential award.
