UCLA Computer Science Department DeepMind Fellowship for Incoming CS M.S. Students Fall 2021 only (
The fellowship provides full funding for Computer Science M.S. students who are studying artificial intelligence and machine learning, including:
* tuition for two academic years
* a stipend of $23,726 for each 9-month academic year
* a travel allowance of $2250 to attend academic conferences in AI/ML
* an equipment allowance of $1500
To be eligible, an applicant must be an incoming M.S. student in Computer Science at UCLA for Fall 2021 (if you started the MS program prior to Fall 2021 you are not eligible to apply), must reside in the United States, and would not be able to take up the offer of admission without financial assistance. Any student starting after Fall 2021 quarter is not eligible to apply for this fellowship.
The intent of this fellowship is to provide access to higher education for students who might otherwise find it difficult or impossible to successfully pursue graduate study in such fields. In addition, individuals from cultural, racial, linguistic, geographic and socioeconomic backgrounds, including women, that are currently underrepresented in graduate education in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning are especially encouraged to apply.
