Hey there! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Wheelchair Rugby Association of Singapore (WRAS).
It's take a whole community to support a sports team! And right behind WRAS, is a fantastic team of volunteers who have taken their time and effort to support this community. One of the goals for WRAS is to reach out to the wider community, to facilitate access to inclusive sport for everyone through wheelchair rugby. We're always looking to grow this support group, especially in these skill-based areas:
1) Media - taking photos and videos of trainings and events to support the marketing team, as well as project-based mini series in collaboration with the marketing team
2) Marketing - supporting the digital marketing platforms (e.g. instagram, website etc)
3) Wheelchair and equipment maintenance - e.g. changing, fixing or adjusting components of the wheelchair
4) Training and befriending support - to support in regular trainings, including basics of refereeing
5) Volunteer management and mentoring
