Description: The role of the Board is to establish policies consistent with the Association’s Constitution and Bylaws and to actively define and support the mission of the association. Board members should engage, connect, and celebrate women professionals in the events field, and assemble the founding principles that will guide the entire association and its activities in the events sector. Each board member will have a volunteer, virtual 2- year term. Board Members are expected to join a core AWE committee and actively participate in the committee mission. Board members are required to attend 8 of the 12 meetings per year.
