Port Discover is a hands-on STEAM discovery center dedicated to inspiring young minds through interactive exhibits and engaging educational programs for children ages 1-17. We welcome interns and volunteers to support our mission in a variety of ways!

Hours of Operation:
- Monday & Tuesday: 10 AM β 5 PM
- Wednesday & Sunday: Closed
- Thursday & Friday: 10 AM β 5 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM β 5 PM
Volunteer opportunities are available during our open hours and at other times for special programs and events. Any hours you can volunteer are greatly appreciated!
π Ways You Can Help:
Summer Camp (Open to volunteers ages 13+) β Help with activities, camper supervision, and setup/cleanup to ensure a fun and engaging STEAM camp experiences.
Story Time - Read science-related stories to children.
Assistant Educator β Support our educators in delivering STEAM programs.
Fundraising & Event Support β Help with prep work like making decorations, setting up event spaces, organizing activity stations, and even running a station on the day of the event.
General Center Support β Assist with tasks like cleaning, painting, organizing, sorting, and labeling.
π Requirements:
- Volunteers must be able to pass a background check.
- β οΈ If you are under the age of 13, a parent or guardian must complete this form on your behalf.
