WHEN: November 13, 2019, 5PM - 6:30PM

Thank you for your interest in participating in the Annual Intergenerational storytelling event. One Book and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) have partnered to have a intergenerational storytelling event, inspired by "The Moth" and "This Much is True". This event is co-sponsored by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, NU Theatre Dept, 9 Lives, and One Book One Northwestern.
Participants: Only Northwestern undergraduates, graduate/professional school students, faculty, staff, and OLLI members may be storytellers. Others are welcome to be audience members and support our storytellers!
Story prompt:
We all have stories. One Book celebrates storytellers inspired by great authors. Margot Lee Shetterly celebrates unsung heroes, teasing out issues of race, gender, science and innovation. What is your story? Come share it with the group focusing on one of these themes.
If you would like to tell your own story or the story of someone you know, sign up below. On the night of the event, 4 student names and 4 OLLI names will be drawn from a hat. If you are not present when your name is called, another name will be selected. The story you tell must be true. It must be on theme. It must have stakes. It must be your story to tell. Must be on-time. 5-8 minutes in length. You are not allowed to read from a page or reference notes.
