Deadline: New Bedford
The storyline is as simple as it is tragic. Local journalism is on its last legs. But is it? Or is there an opportunity to begin anew from the ground up…to fill the gaps in coverage and deliver something different to New Bedford’s figurative doorstep.
Deadline: New Bedford is a community discussion which seeks to begin a new narrative collectively around the who, what, where, when and why we gather and share news moving forward.
The effort to stay informed starts with being informed - by all of you invited to come and offer your thoughts on what a new model for local journalism could look like.
Together, we can harness the best ideas and innovative energy of our own community to tell the stories that need to be told now and into the future…
Our space has a capacity of 45 (don't worry if we fill up we'll meet another deadline to continue the conversation!), so please fill out the below form by January 7 and we will contact you with event location details by January 15, 2020.
