Life Coaching Agreement
1. Coaching ServicesThe Coach agrees to provide professional life coaching services to support the Client in achieving their personal and professional goals. Coaching is a collaborative process and is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice.
Services Include:
One-on-one coaching sessions focused on goal setting, accountability, mindset, habits, and personal growth.
Between-session support via email or messaging (response within 48 business hours).
Access to worksheets, resources, or exercises as agreed upon.
2. Session Format, Duration & ScheduleSession Length: 90 minutes per session
Format: Virtual (Zoom/Google Meet) or in-person (if mutually agreed and location permits)
Frequency: Weekly or Bi-weekly (to be decided mutually)
Meeting Time: To be scheduled in advance via shared calendar or email
Initial Commitment:
The Client commits to an initial package of 1/6/8/12 sessions.
3. Payment TermsPayment is due before Coaching Services begin. (follow the payment link after submitting this form)
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling PolicyClient must provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule a session.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full.
Coach will make every effort to reschedule within the agreed time frame.
5. ConfidentialityAll information shared during coaching sessions will remain strictly confidential, except in cases required by law (e.g., imminent harm to self or others).
6. TerminationEither party may terminate this Agreement with 14 days written notice.
The Coach will refund any unused sessions minus a $75 administrative fee (if applicable).
All payments for completed sessions are non-refundable.
7. Results & DisclaimerThe Client acknowledges that results depend on their own effort, openness, and follow-through. The Coach does not guarantee specific outcomes. Coaching is not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice.
8. Entire AgreementThis Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements.
WHEREAS, the Client has voluntarily requested and agreed to receive life coaching services from the Coach, Marlene Aaronson; and
WHEREAS, the Client understands that life coaching is a collaborative process focused on personal development, goal setting, mindset, and life strategies, and is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment, or psychological services; and
WHEREAS, the Client acknowledges that life coaching does not diagnose, treat, or cure any medical, mental health, or psychological condition;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the Coach providing life coaching services to the Client, the Client agrees as follows:
1. Assumption of Risk
The Client understands and acknowledges that participation in life coaching involves inherent risks, including but not limited to emotional distress, psychological discomfort, changes in personal relationships, financial decisions, career changes, or other life transitions. The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with the life coaching process.
2. Release of Liability
The Client, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby releases, discharges, and holds harmless the Coach, their employees, agents, contractors, affiliates, and successors from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, injuries, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with the Client’s participation in life coaching services.
This release includes, but is not limited to, any claims related to:
Emotional or psychological effects resulting from coaching sessions
Decisions made by the Client as a result of coaching
Actions taken or not taken by the Client in their personal or professional life
Any perceived lack of results or outcomes from the coaching
3. No Guarantee of Results
The Client understands and agrees that the Coach makes no guarantees or warranties regarding specific outcomes, results, or achievements from the life coaching services. Success depends entirely on the Client’s own efforts, commitment, and circumstances.
4. Acknowledgment of Scope of Services
The Client acknowledges that life coaching is not a substitute for professional advice in the areas of law, finance, medicine, mental health, or therapy. The Client agrees to seek independent professional advice when appropriate and is solely responsible for all decisions made.
5. Medical and Mental Health Disclaimer
The Client represents that they are in good physical and mental health and are not currently under the care of a mental health professional for any condition that could be adversely affected by life coaching. If the Client has any medical or psychological concerns, they will consult with and obtain clearance from a qualified healthcare provider before participating.
6. Confidentiality
The Coach agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during coaching sessions, except as required by law or where the Client provides written consent to disclose.
7. Governing Law
This Release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
8. Severability
If any provision of this Release is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
9. Voluntary Agreement
The Client acknowledges that they have read this Release carefully, understand its terms, and are signing it voluntarily. The Client has had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice if desired.
