Write for Success 2023 Application

The Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) in Meridian, MS will be hosting an immersive learning experience for 12 local high school students called Write for Success in July 2023. The program will introduce students to professional mentors who provide invaluable insight into the writing/literature industry. Instruction includes not only improved writing skill and technique but also professional practices and character building and discussions of various jobs available within the industry (including fiction and nonfiction writing, editing, marketing, managing, etc.).

The camp is scheduled for 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. each day, Monday, July 10 – Friday July 14, 2023, with a commencement ceremony from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, all at The MAX.

Students who will be juniors or seniors in high school during the 2023-2024 school year are invited to apply. Our Success programs are offered at no cost to selected students.

Students must complete this form by April 30, 2023 to be considered for the 2023 Write for Success program.
