Events must take place in NY State. Career opportunities must be in NY or the Northeast. The Small Farms Bi-Monthly Update is generally released on the 1st and the 15th of each month. There is no issue on January 1st.

The enewsletter reaches 10,000 farmers, aspiring farmers, and agricultural service providers. 60% of these recipients are located in NYS. 40% are located in the Northeast or elsewhere in the United States.

We market through our CSA program, farm-stand, and year-round local farmers' markets. EXAMPLE FORMAT: Specialty Cheese-Making Workshop February 23-24, Ithaca, NY: This course is an advanced level hands-on course. Participants will apply scientific principles to craft six varieties of cheese from pasteurization through curing. In addition to making cheese, the course will also focus on milk quality, affinage, and sensory evaluation of cheese. It is recommended that participants have experience in cheese making. The course is ideally suited for cheese makers (artisan and commercial), affineurs, and QA/QC. The course is instructed by industry experts and Cornell Dairy Foods Extension.
