Call for Creative Talent
Thank you for your interest in working with the City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE). OACCE supports cultural organizations, arts groups, individual artists, and others through its Arts in Action initiatives, which provide quality cultural experiences in every neighborhood. Responses to the Call for Creative Programming guarantees that artists will receive the call for artists for all Arts in Action initiatives, including:

Performances in Public Spaces, OACCE’s neighborhood-based performance series, presents free quality arts activities in outdoor community spaces across Philadelphia. In past years, activities ranged from Shakespeare-in- the-Park, to circus arts, to a silent film played with live music, to family-friendly theatre productions. Performances reflect Philadelphia’s vibrant and diverse cultural community. (June – October)

Culture in Neighborhoods offers family-friendly arts programming in City buildings such as Community Schools, recreation centers, libraries, and older adult centers. From dance instruction, to art-making, to musical performances, to writing workshops, this initiative uses these neighborhood assets to promote community connection and increase access to quality art and cultural experiences. (Year-Round)

These initiatives are a major part of OACCE’s work to connect our city’s children, youth, and adults to enriching arts-infused experiences, and close the gap in access to quality opportunities for arts education, instruction, and creativity.
