Call for Creative Talent
Thank you for your interest in working with the City of Philadelphia Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE).

OACCE supports cultural organizations, arts groups and individual artists through its neighborhood arts program, Arts in Action. Arts in Action activates public spaces in Philadelphia’s diverse and vibrant neighborhoods with free, quality cultural experiences. Through Arts in Action, these non-traditional neighborhood spaces are distinguished as anchors of creativity. Arts in Action introduces local creative talent and organizations to new audiences while providing accessible and family-friendly programming to Philadelphians year-round. Interested artists and groups can engage in two ways:

Performances in Public Spaces presents a free, summer series of cultural performances in parks and plazas across Philadelphia neighborhoods. From May through October, the annual series brings arts and culture experiences to local outdoor spaces

Culture in Neighborhoods transforms Philadelphia’s public indoor spaces into neighborhood hubs of creativity. From October through March, the series brings free, creative experiences to the City’s community schools, libraries, recreation centers, and older adult centers. Participating spaces will host cultural activities driven by neighborhood interest.

These initiatives are a major part of OACCE’s work of closing the gap in access to quality opportunities for arts education, instruction, and creativity.
