EqualEngineers Mental Health Role Model Campaign 2020
Experiential learning through storytelling. It's powerful. It makes people see your point of view...understand the journey you have been on to get to where you are at. And any barriers you have had to overcome.

Maybe others experience these barriers too. Hearing your story might just make them avoid these pitfalls. To adopt better strategies for coping in times of need.

We need your help.

EqualEngineers is on a mission to transform what engineering and technology looks like. To attract, develop and retain a more diverse workforce.

We are looking for engineers who have had mental ill-health, or live with a mental ill-health condition and who are successfully working as engineers and willing to be filmed to share your story.

Filming will take place on Tuesday 21st April 2020 in London. Shortlisted participants will be invited to a 20 minute slot. The output will be a set of videos which will be made freely available as a resource tool for organisations and individuals to use.

The videos will showcase how engineers are supported, give insights into the challenges people can face in the workplace or onsite, and offer top-tips on how best to create an inclusive working environment and enable positive mental health.

If you would like to be considered, please continue with completing this registration form. All participants must have the approval from their employers to take part in this project.

Participants will be notified by Friday 27th March.
