Consider these realities: Rural populations continue to suffer from inadequate access to care, yet in the absence of sufficient loan repayment programs, many dental graduates feel pressure to practice in higher income areas to manage their debt. Dental schools and allied dental education programs continue to serve as safety-net clinics for underserved and underinsured patients, yet are severely undercompensated for the services they provide.
ADEA Capitol Hill Day empowers dental, allied dental and advanced dental education faculty, students, residents and fellows to speak directly to their Members of Congress about how the federal government can help address these issues.
This year ADEA will host Capitol Hill Day on Thursday, April 11, 2019. If you are planning to come with a colleague, each person attending must register separately. We look forward to seeing you for a full day of activities!
