1. This form, must be submitted by in order to audition for this in this production. You must have permission from your parent/guardian in order to audition and be cast.
2. COMMITMENT TO THE PRODUCTION IS REQUIRED - All students will be required to be available for the rehearsal period. The production period is semi-intensive, requiring discipline, professionalism, and a high level of energy and commitment from the outset. If placed in the cast, you must be available for all scheduled rehearsals (although it is unlikely (ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE) you will be called all days, you must make attending rehearsals your priority.)
Due to the tight rehearsal schedule, all prior known conflicts must be listed on THIS AGREEMENT. Conflicts presented after the first rehearsal will not be honored. Please note that excessive conflicts will affect casting/placing decisions. PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Please ensure ALL conflicts during the rehearsal and show period are noted on this agreement.
If you have 3 or more conflicts (weekly) in your schedule you must contact or see Mr. Ty Scurry before signing up as we will need to review your conflicts in advance.
Please do not audition if you are not in a position to commit to the rehearsal schedule.

3. If I am cast, I understand that I am making a serious commitment to this project. That commitment means:
- I will make rehearsals and my responsibilities to the show my first priority.
- I understand the importance of attending scheduled rehearsals prepared and on time and that a pattern of missed rehearsals, tardiness or unpreparedness jeopardizes my role in this and future productions, as well as my activity credit.
- I understand that all conflicts must be listed on the audition contract and that any conflicts given past the 1st rehearsal will not be honored and may result in dismissal from the project and from receiving my activity credit.
- I will accept the role I am given, maintain a positive attitude throughout the process, and be a team player.
- I will show respect and support the members of the project and production team by practicing active listening, honing observation skills, keeping focus and engaging wholeheartedly in the process of creating theater.
If you have any questions, or you wish to assist in any way throughout this process, please contact Ty Scurry by email at tyheed.scurry@new-haven.k12.ct.us

Ty T. Scurry, Drama Teacher & Director
