We invite you to take part in a webinar to discuss the perspectives and challenges for French companies regarding low carbon hydrogen in Chile, which will take place on June 22nd, , from 3:00 to 4:30 pm (Paris time) organized jointly by the France-Chile Chamber of Commerce, MEDEF International, ProChile and the Embassy of France in Chile.

In the current and unprecedented acceleration movement of the low carbon hydrogen, Chile is a pioneer and shows strong ambitions. Leaning on a production of green hydrogen among the most competitive, an attractive business environment and a strong political will, Chile offers to the manufacturers of the sector to join Chile’s efforts to:

- have a 5 GW capacity of electrolyzers by 2025,

- provide the cheapest hydrogen of the world by 2030,

- to position Chile among the world’s top 3 hydrogen exporters by 2040.

In this context, this session offers French companies of the hydrogen value chain to:

- understand in detail the advantages and ambitions of Chili regarding low carbon hydrogen as well as the competitiveness that it offers to companies,

- get to know the activities and projects of major French actors of the hydrogen sector positioned in Chile,

- evaluate the different business models being considered as well as the remaining challenges,

- discuss live with decision makers and the private sector ecosystem of hydrogen in Chile.

It should be noted that the webinar of June 22nd precedes a meeting of the Hydrogen task force of MEDEF International & France Hydrogène which will take place at MEDEF, on June 30th, with the minister of Energy of Chile, Mr. Juan Carlos Jobet. This meeting will focus on the projects of the companies and on having a direct conversation with the minister
