Thank you for your interest in joining Poulsbo Leikarringen! We meet on Monday late afternoons throughout the school year at the Sons of Norway lodge in Poulsbo. We offer age-appropriate dance classes in traditional Scandinavian folk dance in a fun and positive environment.
Costs - $95 for members of the SoNs, $125 for non-members. Other costs include shoes, tights/socks, a $40 bunad deposit, and any travel expenses to performances. We also have Leikarringen shoe bags available for purchase for $5.
Leikarringen will provide a bunad (traditional attire) for performances. Dancers need to pay a $40 deposit on each bunad which is refundable upon return of all bunad pieces in good condition by the return date.
Our Preschool class requires active parent participation during the entire dance class.
Here are our tentative class times. These grade alignments may be changed depending on enrollment.
Dancers also may be moved up or down based on skill and maturity.
